Indulge in a serene sound bath meditation hosted in partnership with Lincoln Park Conservancy and Anna Romo, owner of Virtue Alchemy Candle Co & Busy Body Retreats.

As a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga teacher, Anna invites you to immerse yourself in tranquility at the enchanting Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Imagine the gentle rustling of leaves and the soothing sound of a cascading waterfall setting the perfect stage for this relaxing experience.

Due to ongoing restoration work, the Lily Pool will be closed to the public, thereby ensuring an exclusive private event within this serene natural setting. The Pavilion and paths leading to it will be closed. However, the Council Ring and Waterfall areas will remain available for use.

The Experience:

Set up your yoga mat along the paths and area around the Council Ring. The sounds will easily carry throughout the area.
Sound Bath Meditation: Immerse yourself in soothing sounds while Anna plays singing bowls and chimes that promote relaxation and inner peace.
Take Home a Self-Care Gift Bag: Each guest receives a gift bag containing:
  • A Virtue Alchemy hand poured candle
  • Journaling prompts to inspire reflection
  • Small goodies like palo santo and an affirmation sticker
  • Complimentary 2 week free trail at Base Camp strength & cardio training in the West Loop

About the Lincoln Park Conservancy and Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool:

The Lincoln Park Conservancy is the first public-private partnership in the Chicago Park District and the first park conservancy in the City of Chicago. Since their founding in 1984, the Lincoln Park Conservancy has engaged in historic conservation, ecological restoration, and park programming across Lincoln Park. You can learn more about what they do and learn how you can become a volunteer on their website:http://www.lincolnparkconservancy.org/.
The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool is undergoing its first restoration since the Lincoln Park Conservancy renovated the site in 2004, earning it its national historic landmark status. This park is the vision of landscape architect Alfred Caldwell: a hidden garden for the people of Chicago designed to resemble a river meandering through a great Midwestern prairie. Most of the materials used in its creation and the plants in the Lily Pool are native to the Midwest region. The critical maintenance is focused on the site’s iconic pavilions. Rotting posts and warped support beams are being replaced with new, regionally sourced and milled white oak timber under a new cooper roof. To learn more about the Lily Pool’s Restoration and follow its progress, you can read our blog posts athttps://www.lincolnparkconservancy.org/category/alfred-caldwell-lily-pool/lily-pool-restoration/.
